The IXION torch is not only the best looking designer torch available today but is the most advanced torch that you can own. Designed with state-of-the-art, patented technology, the IXION torch incorporates contactless induction charging, superbright LED illumination, intelligent circuitry and rechargeable batteries. Designed for absolute reliability, the induction charging system ensures that the IXION torch is always fully charged for those times when you can't afford to be left in the dark by dead batteries.

The XION torch is supplied with an induction charging base. Just rest the IXION on the charging base to initiate the charge process. As this charging process is contactless the torch is completely sealed and waterproof. This recharge system provides as optimum charge to the batteries, ensuring superior battery performance. It will take approximately 12 hours to fully charge the IXION's internal battery pack. A fully charged IXION will provide 10 hours ultra-bright light. The LED has a rated life of up to 100,000 hours, which ensures that you will never need to replace it. To enhance the light output the IXION uses a sophisticated lens design, which focuses and amplifies the emitted light into a concentrated beam. For the ultimate in reliability the IXION has a magnetic switch arrangement. This allows the torch to be completely sealed making the torch waterproof. As there are no mechanical contacts in the switch arrangement, reliabilty and switch life are guaranteed. All the components of the IXION are specified to the highest standards for repeated use and long life.
