Infinit Solar Charging Backpack Rucksack
The Infinit Backpack is a new, innovative product which combines the functionality and comfort of a premium level lightweight backpack with an integrated solar power system to give the consumer charge on-the-move. The backpack incorporates an integrated solar panel on the fascia of the bag which soaks up sunlight and stores the energy generated from the solar rays in a Lithium internal battery. This rechargeable battery continuously receives a trickle charge from the solar panel and then uses the stored energy to charge the chosen device.
In addition, The Infinit Solar Powered Backpack also features a mains power plug and USB charging cable so consumers can boost the power in the battery before leaving home. The bag also boasts an integrated headphone port so that media players can be kept dry and three spacious front compartments that can store equipment and accessories.
The main storage compartment of the bag is 25 litres in size providing plenty of room for everyday items and also travel essentials when away from home.

The backpack is the perfect size for air travel. It has been designed to fit comfortably into overhead flight storage compartments. The backpack dimensions are:

The weight of the backpack is just 1.4kg (3lbs).
(Note: This model is designed to carry notebooks but will unfortunately not charge them. But Infinit are working on it!)
Charging
Using your standard Apple connectivity cable you can charge the following Apple devices:
- iPhone, including iPhone 3G/3GS
- iPod (all generations including iPod touch, iPod shuffle, iPod nano, iPod mini & iPod classic)
Other adaptors included with the backpack will enable you to charge devices from the following manufacturers:
- Nokia (N95 onwards)
- Sony Ericsson (all)
- Samsung (all)
- LG (all)
- Motorola (all)
- HTC (all)

Once fully charged, the internal battery of the Infinit Solar Backpack will take between:
- 4-6 Hours to charge in very sunny conditions
- 6-10 Hours to charge in natural light
- 3 Hours to charge fully via the mains power
- 4 Hours to charge fully via USB connection
Charging times vary depending on the gadget, but our tests delivered the following performance, charging the device from empty:
